Hatha may not be the perfect style for you, but it's a good place to start. Hatha is gentle, a little slower, and encourages students to focus on alignment and form to support their body. I designed this 10-minute sequence of Hatha yoga for beginners as an introduction to yoga. Most forms of yoga in the West can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, which means that your Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word "hatha" can be translated in two ways: as "voluntary" or "energetic", or the yoga of activity, and as "sun" (ha) and "moon" (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit for meditation.
yoga international Day 2018
On June 21, 2015, the first International Yoga Day was celebrated worldwide. The AYUSH Ministry made the necessary arrangements in India. 35,985 people, including Narendra Modi and a great name of dignitaries from 84 nations, performed 21 yoga asanas (postures) for 35 minutes at Rajpath in New Delhi. The day dedicated to yoga is observed by millions of people around the world. The CCN cadets entered the Limca registry book for the "highest performance of yoga at the same time by a single youth organization in uniform" in several places.
Thought of the Yoga day
"Through the practices of yoga, we discover that concern for the happiness and well being of others, including animals, must be an essential part of our own quest for happiness and well being. The fork can be a powerful weapon of mass destruction or a tool to create peace on Earth". - Sharon Gannon
Why We Celebrate Yoga Day on 21 June?
Scientifically, June 21 is the day of the summer solstice, when the inclination of the axis of a planet in the northern hemisphere is more inclined towards the star than it orbits, in our case, the Earth and the sun. June 21 is considered the longest day of the year, the sun rises early and settles late in the northern hemisphere.

National Yoga Day

International Yoga Day, or commonly and unofficially called Yoga Day, is celebrated every year on June 21 since its creation in 2015. An International Yoga Day has been declared unanimously by the General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA ).
